LOCATION

The Bernese Oberland, with its famous Jungfrau Region, offers countless opportunities to sports fans, leisure & pleasure lovers, peace seekers and action addicts in both summer and winter. The three municipalities, Unterseen, Interlaken and Matten cluster together on the Bödeli, the local name for the small plain between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.

 

Hotel Rössli is in the middle of Unterseen’s old quarter, near the post office, bank, pharmacy, supermarket, a variety of specialized businesses, restaurants and other shops. The surrounding excursion destinations are easily reached by rail, bus, boat (in summer) or with your own car.

You can reach us with a five-minute walk from Interlaken West railway station: Follow Bahnhofstrasse in the direction of Unterseen / Beatenberg. Turn right at the first crossroads (Bäckerei Michel). Hotel Rössli is about 80 metres further on,

Coming from Bern / Thun, just before reaching Interlaken take exit Unterseen / Beatenberg and turn left at the first roundabout. Turn right at the second roundabout and continue straight on towards Unterseen. Go straight on where the main road bears right at crossroads (Bäckerei Michel on left). Hotel Rössli is about 80 metres further on, on the left.
Coming from Brünig / Meiringen / Brienz take motorway exit Unterseen / Beatenberg and turn right at the junction. Turn right at the second roundabout and continue straight on towards Unterseen. Go straight on where the main road bears right at crossroads (Bäckerei Michel on left). Hotel Rössli is about 80 metres further on, on the left.

 

 

Arrival by air / rail:

You can reach us comfortably by rail from the airports at Geneva, Zurich or Basel in around 3 hours.
